Preliminary plans for the new design of the house
Nothing exists in a vacuum. Project Green Home is an open source collaborative initiative involving not just our partner-contractors and architects, but many friends, neighbors, high school and university students, political officials, green building leaders and media. As a working model of the possible, the project hopes to serve as a real-life replicable example, creating a virtuous circle of similar sustainable housing. This is no small effort, and we welcome the opportunity to collaborate further on grants, case studies, discussions, innovative ideas and events, for the continued building of a project that has become so much larger than just our home.
